Meet Otis! This handsome 2-year-old, 50-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for his happily-ever-after. Otis was surrendered due to a severe skin condition, but his foster has worked wonders, and he's now thriving with a shiny coat and a joyful spirit. He's sweet, goofy, and loves people dearly, often reminding you with a gentle paw when he's ready for more pets. Otis is highly responsive to positive reinforcement and eager to please his people.
Ideal Home
Otis is a social butterfly with other dogs and would love a canine sibling in his forever home. He's great with dogs of all sizes, respects their space, and warms up quickly to new friends. While he's great with other dogs, he hasn't been around cats, so his compatibility with them is unknown. Due to his size and enthusiasm, older children who are experienced with dogs would be the best fit. He's happy to zoom around and play but also enjoys being a couch potato, so a moderately active home that appreciates snuggle sessions would be ideal.

Otis had a severe skin condition that has been successfully treated by his foster. He is now healthy and has a shiny coat he's proud of.
Training & Support
Otis is fully housebroken and potty trained. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate overnight, settling well, especially with a stuffed Kong. He has shown no signs of separation anxiety, destruction, food aggression, or resource guarding. He is fed separately to ensure a calm environment. He walks well on a leash with minor excitement at the start, loves car rides, and even enjoys bath time.
