Josie

Josie is a sweet and calm 15-week-old puppy with a possible birthday of December 15, 2025. She currently weighs about 25 pounds and is expected to grow to be over 60 pounds, so she's definitely got some big bones! Josie and her sister were rescued from a backyard breeder, and while her mother may not be a purebred Rottweiler, Josie's mix might include some Shepherd. She's already showing great promise, doing well with crate and house training. Josie has a gentle nature and is a fantastic companion for dogs, cats, and children alike.

Ideal Home

Josie thrives in a home environment where she can continue to learn and grow. She has adjusted well to living with senior ladies, small and large dogs, and cats, indicating she's a very adaptable pup!

Ongoing Health

Josie's adoption includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, spay surgery, a microchip, and parasite prevention.

Training & Support

Josie is already doing well with crate and house training, showing a strong aptitude for learning. Her sweet demeanor makes her a joy to train and guide.

Transporation

Josie is currently fostered in Alabama and transportation to the Northeast and New England is available for adopted dogs, coordinated through a licensed animal transporter.
