Meet Jack!
I'm Jack, and I'm a 9-year-old Chihuahua (and possible Boston Terrier?) mix who weighs a petite 16 pounds. I'm looking for a home that can provide me with lots of love, couch cuddles, and of course, snacks! I've recently discovered the joy of chewing bones and have been learning to play with other small dogs in my foster home, and I'm absolutely thriving. I love to sleep with my foster parents, so I'm hoping for a family that enjoys a snuggle buddy in bed. I'm a principled pup who only takes my own treats and plays with my own toys. I’m happy to go into my crate for meals, but I'm not a big fan of the crate in general. While I haven't been tested with cats or young children, I can be introduced to kids 8 and older, as I take my snack time very seriously. If you're searching for a loving, snack-loving senior with a big personality, I'm your guy!
Ideal Home
A home that can provide plenty of love and attention, and a family that understands my need for my own space during meal and snack times. I’m best suited for households with children 8 years and older.
Ongoing Health
Jack is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines. He is also current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
I'm not a fan of the crate in general, though I will use it for meals. I also like to keep my treats and toys to myself. I'm still learning about playing with others, but I'm doing great!
