The One-of-a-Kind “Peeler” (Pitty + Heeler Mix)
If James Bond were a dog, he’d probably look a lot like Tux: sharp black-and-white coat, confident presence, and just enough goofball energy to keep life interesting. At 4 years old and 58 pounds, this handsome boy is what we call a Peeler—a Pitty + Heeler mix with the best of both worlds. Tux is the perfect balance of active and chill. He loves going on walks, playing tug-of-war, chasing toys, and showing off his goofy side, but when the fun is over, he’s just as happy to lounge around the house. Medium energy with a healthy love for couch time—basically, the best of both. When it comes to people, Tux warms up at his own pace but once you’re in, you’re family. He’s loving, loyal, and eager to bond deeply with his humans. He does best in a calmer household with adults or older kids who understand his protective side.
Ideal Home
Tux does best in a calmer household with adults or older kids (10 years and over). He is happy with a female dog sibling or as your one-and-only sidekick. He has not been tested with cats.
Ongoing Health
Tux is healthy and up to date on vaccines.
Training & Support
Tux is crate trained, smart, and eager to please. He is a dog who loves routine, playtime, and loyalty. He is protective but goofy, and would do well with someone who understands his breeds.

Transporation
Tux is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. Transports depart each week.
