Beckett is a handsome 1-year-old, approximately 40 lb, Border Collie/Retriever mix who made the journey from Georgia to Wisconsin and has settled into his foster home. He was found as a stray and, while his siblings have found homes, Beckett is still waiting for his perfect match. He has made amazing progress in foster care, gaining confidence and experiencing the stability of a home. Beckett is potty trained, crate trained, great with other dogs, and gentle with children. He loves being outdoors and is learning that treats are exciting! Like many rescue dogs, Beckett can be timid at first with new people and places, but with patience and consistency, his sweet, playful personality emerges. Once he feels safe, he is affectionate, gentle, and a joy to be around. A predictable routine and a canine companion would help him continue to build confidence.
Ideal Home
Beckett would do best in a home with a predictable routine and would also do great with a canine companion to help build his confidence.
Ongoing Health
Beckett is neutered. His adoption fee includes up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, and heartworm prevention (age appropriate).
Training & Support
Beckett is potty trained, crate trained, and has good leash manners. He can be timid when meeting new people and in new places, but warms up with patience and consistency.

- You will need to fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.
- Approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
- You will have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home for a 5-day foster-to-adopt trial period.
- After the trial period, you will let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog.
- A home visit will be conducted either in person or via Zoom meeting after the adoption process.
