Leroy

Meet Leroy! This sweet, 10-year-old Bluetick Coonhound is a true gentleman who has had a bit of a rough journey. He was surrendered to us through no fault of his own. Leroy lived a happy life with his original owner until she sadly passed away. He then moved in with her brother, but unfortunately, that owner is now also undergoing cancer treatment and is unable to care for his senior dogs. Despite these hardships, Leroy remains a happy and fun-loving guy! He still enjoys exploring the outdoors, sniffing around, and having a good time. Leroy is friendly with other dogs and appears to have some household training. This lovable goofball is ready to spend his golden years in a loving home where he can truly shine.

Leroy is a senior dog, and we are committed to ensuring the rest of his life is the best of his life.

Training & Support

Leroy seems to have some household training, but as with any dog, continued positive reinforcement will help him settle in and succeed.

Transporation

Leroy is located in South Carolina, and transport to the Northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located on the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick him up. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
