Bear

Meet Bear, a handsome 4-year-old Newfiedoodle weighing in at 85 pounds. This sweet boy has a heart of gold and a face that's sure to bring a smile to your face. Bear was surrendered because his previous family noted he could become possessive of his people, which became difficult to manage with small children and a constant stream of visitors. He has been a perfect gentleman since arriving at our rescue, but we want to ensure he finds a calm and structured environment where he can continue to thrive.

Ideal Home

Bear would do best in an adult-only home or a home with older children (ages 10 and up). Due to his size and past history, we will not adopt him to a home with any child under the age of 10.

Ongoing Health

Bear is neutered, fully current on all of his shots, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Bear is a wonderful, loving dog who just needs a family that understands his breed mix, can provide a little structure, and has plenty of room for 85 pounds of pure affection.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You must purchase a one-year supply of heartworm preventative from us at cost.
• All dogs must be microchipped for $20.00.
• There is a $600.00 donation fee.
• All dogs adopted through us must be indoor dogs.
• We require a home visit prior to all placements.
