Hank

Hank is a 14-month-old bundle of energy and sweetness, looking for his forever home. He's got a wonderful temperament and simply loves to please his people. He gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets, both human and canine, and shows no signs of aggression or resource guarding. Hank doesn't get into mischief with chewing, preferring his toys and bones, and he's not much of a barker. He's house-trained and has made great progress with crate training, comfortably sleeping through the night on his bed. He's also an excellent traveler in the car, though he prefers a little assistance getting in and is also a good boy who doesn't jump on furniture.

Ideal Home

Hank would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people. Due to his high prey drive and obsession with small critters like chipmunks, squirrels, and cats, he should not be in a home with cats.

Hank is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Hank knows how to sit, lay down, and stay (with a little wiggle room!). He usually comes when called, especially if a treat is involved. He can be a bit stubborn without a reward, and he does get easily distracted by sounds and movement. He needs more leash training as he tends to pull, but he does much better with a Gentle Leader. His treat motivation makes him a prime candidate for continued training success!
