Hello! I’m Chewie, an adorable puppy about 6 months old, with short copper-brown fur. It looks like I’ll grow to be medium-large in size. Something curious about me is that my tongue is a little purple—I probably have some Chow Chow in me, just without the long hair. My name comes from the fact that I look a bit like Chewbacca. I’m a very cheerful and playful puppy—I love to chew on things! Even though I can be a bit mischievous, I really enjoy cuddling and having my belly scratched. Since I’m still growing, I eat a lot. Toys and chew sticks help me release my energy, and when I get bored, I turn to my doggy host. I live completely indoors, but I go out to the yard to use the bathroom through my doggy door, which I learned to use very quickly.
I showed up one day in a neighborhood, but when my presence was mentioned in the neighbors’ group, no one claimed me. Someone came looking for me to offer me water and found me trying to get a bit of shade under a bush. When I saw the water, I preferred to bathe in it rather than drink it. I was very hot and a little nervous because the dogs from other houses were barking at me, so this kind neighbor decided to take me to her home, bathe me, and give me food. After that, I fell soundly asleep on the living room floor.

Ongoing Health
I’ve already started my vaccination and deworming protocol, and I’ll be neutered very soon. When I was taken to the vet, I was diagnosed with scabies, so I started treatment. They also noted I was missing a tooth.
