Millie is a sweet girl who bonds closely with her humans, showing off her smarts and a personality that will have you ditching your alarm clock! She's a quick learner and will master your routine in no time. Millie truly shines when she's the sole focus of her people's attention.

Ideal Home

Millie would do best in a home where she can be the only pet, as she can be reactive towards other dogs. She thrives with consistent human companionship and would be happiest with someone who works from home, is retired, or can provide frequent check-ins throughout the day. She also dislikes being crated for extended periods.

Ongoing Health

Millie has a severe collapsing airway, which means she cannot wear a collar and should avoid long walks on hot and humid days. She has seen specialists who assure that with careful management, she can live a long and happy life. Due to her airway condition, she must remain intact as she cannot undergo anesthesia.

Training & Support

Millie can be a bit reserved and vocal around men initially, but with patience and gentle introductions, she warms up. She would benefit from a home with a securely fenced yard, which would minimize the need for walks.
