BRYCE

Bryce is our resident goofball, a true rescue who was pulled from a very rural Mississippi shelter and nursed back to health by one of our devoted rescuers. Despite a past burn injury, likely from human contact, Bryce remains happy-go-lucky and full of joy. She's about three years old, and while we await her Embark results for a definitive age and breed assessment, her spirit is undeniable. Bryce absolutely loves to explore, taking in the sights and sounds of her surroundings during walks. She greets every person she meets with enthusiasm and affection. We've also begun introducing her to other dogs, and she's shown great promise, suggesting she could be a wonderful canine companion with the right introduction.

Ongoing Health

Bryce is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is halfway through her regimen. Lucky Dog Refuge covers the cost of her treatment and she is able to go to her new home before treatment is complete. The adopter will be asked to bring her to her final vet appointment at our vet in Darien, CT.

Training & Support

Like many rescues, Bryce will need a little time to adjust to a new routine in her forever home. She may have occasional accidents as she learns her new environment, and patience and understanding will go a long way in helping her succeed.
