Basil

Hi there, I'm Basil! I'm a 10-month-old, 45-pound medium mix who is still growing into my big-girl self. I can be a bit timid at first, but with a little patience, I promise to reveal what an absolute sweetheart I am! Once I get comfortable in my new surroundings, I transform into a happy, playful girl full of puppy curiosity. I love spending time outside, bouncing around the yard. When my foster mom is out, I like to follow her at a distance, just to make sure I don't miss out on any of the fun! When called inside, I come running.

Inside, I enjoy lounging in my dog bed and quietly observing everything, especially what's happening in the kitchen. I've discovered the joy of toys and love to collect them, along with other interesting treasures like shoes, piling them all up in my bed. I especially enjoy the company of other dogs and would be thrilled in a multi-dog household. Having furry friends around really helps boost my confidence when meeting new people and exploring new places. I'm still working on my potty training, but I'm making good progress with going outside. At night, I like to sprawl out on my dog bed and sleep soundly until morning.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can continue to gain confidence and truly blossom. A home with other dogs would be wonderful as they help me feel more secure.

I am spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I'm still learning about potty training, but I'm making great progress. I also have a tendency to collect shoes, so providing plenty of chew toys and redirection will be key!
