Elle

Hello there! My name is Elle, and I'm a special needs sweetheart who's a survivor of distemper. I continue to live life to the fullest, embracing every moment regardless of my limitations. I'm completely deaf, have some balance issues, and I'm on medication for seizures. Thankfully, my medication regimen has been working wonderfully, and I haven't had any seizures recently. I absolutely love other dogs and will bounce after them, inviting them to play. I'm also getting better at reading visual cues! Walks are a blast for me; I love taking in all the sights and smells and am not bothered by loud construction at all. I do sleep in and need a little poke to be woken up when it's time to go out. I've been doing well with my crate training, and my potty training has been improving. I still have some training to work on, but I'm a fast learner and eager to please!

Ideal Home

My perfect home will have someone who understands that I'm a little different but still a happy-go-lucky dog.

Ongoing Health

I am a distemper survivor and am completely deaf. I have some balance issues and am on medication for seizures. I will be seeing a neurologist soon and will likely need to continue my medication for the rest of my life. I will always have a bit of a swagger in my walk.

Training & Support

I'm working on my potty training and have some other training to do, but I'm a fast learner!
