Meet Sunny! This handsome, 9-year-old, 70lb neutered pittie mix is a bundle of joy. Sunny is a playful and goofy boy with a huge heart and an infectious enthusiasm for life. He's happiest when he's spending time with his people, showering them with kisses and enjoying his favorite toys. Sunny has been living with a professional trainer and has a fantastic foundation in obedience, knowing commands like sit, down, stay, and place, as well as several fun movement tricks. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained, settling in nicely for 6-8 hours at night. His food motivation makes him eager to learn and continue his training.
Ideal Home
Sunny has a moderate energy level and would love an active home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and including him in family activities. He walks well on a loose leash but can get excited when seeing other dogs, sometimes pulling or lunging. With calm guidance, he quickly refocuses. He plays enthusiastically with medium and large dogs but needs slow, proper introductions and continued guidance, as he doesn't love every dog he meets. He would do well with a balanced, tolerant dog or as the only pet, soaking up all the attention. Sunny loves meeting new people and can be a bit too enthusiastic, sometimes getting mouthy. He'd do best with older, dog-savvy children (10+) who can help reinforce good manners and respect his boundaries.

Training & Support
Sunny's eagerness to learn and his food motivation make him a great candidate for continued training. While he is generally well-behaved, he can get mouthy when excited and may pull on the leash when he sees other dogs. Ongoing positive reinforcement, redirection, and consistent guidance will help him continue to succeed.
