Big Texas

Big Texas is a magnificent 3-year-old Great Pyrenees, currently weighing around 80 pounds and underweight, with an expected healthy weight of over 100 pounds. He embodies the best of his breed: calm, gentle, dignified, large, majestic, confident, and composed. Big Texas came into rescue after the heartbreaking passing of his beloved owner, but he has maintained his sweet and friendly disposition. He carries himself with a quiet confidence and a noble presence, moving with powerful yet graceful movements. He doesn't seek attention but commands it with his mere presence. Big Texas is incredibly sweet and friendly with everyone, including dogs of all sizes, cats, and people.

Ideal Home

We are looking for experienced owners who understand the Great Pyrenees breed. Given his impressive size and guardian instincts, a home without very young children would be the best fit.

Ongoing Health

Big Texas is currently underweight and expected to reach over 100 pounds once he is back in proper condition.

Training & Support

While Big Texas has a wonderful temperament, his size and breed instincts mean he benefits from owners experienced with Great Pyrenees.
