Lou Loomie is a delightful approximately 5-month-old pup, weighing about 30lbs, who we believe is a Lab/Aussie mix. He's an absolute charmer with his wonderfully oversized ears that give him the most adorable, goofy expression! Lou is a sweet and affectionate boy who just loves to melt into your pets. He's a well-balanced companion, not overly hyper but always ready for an adventure, whether it's a walk, some backyard fun, or a cozy evening at home. He naturally adjusts to his surroundings and is happiest when he's with his people, soaking up all the affection.

Ideal Home

Lou would do best with experienced dog owners who appreciate consistency and clear boundaries. A home with a backyard would be wonderful for him to explore. A semi-active family that enjoys outings but also values quiet time at home would be a great match.

Lou is a healthy pup, up-to-date on all vetting.

Training & Support

Lou is doing very well with potty training, achieving about 85% success with a consistent schedule. He is highly motivated by treats, making him a fantastic candidate for continued training with positive reinforcement. He is also crate trained and settles nicely after a few minutes of protest. Consistency and structure will help him continue to thrive.

Transporation

Lou is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup points in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
