Hazel

Hello, I’m Hazel, a playful and sweet American Bulldog mix with a white and tan coat and a big smile! I love to have fun and cuddle with my people. I’m house and crate trained and get so excited for walks! I’m a strong girl, so I need an owner who can handle me and teach me some manners. I’m good with other dogs, especially mellow ones. We don’t know how I feel about cats, but I can be cat-tested if you'd like. I have a lot of energy and love to run around and play with balls. Because of my size, any kids in the home would have to be older (over 10). I also like to relax and nap in my own space in my large kennel, where I feel comfortable and safe. I don’t like to be outdoors for too long and prefer to be inside with my people. I’m afraid of being abandoned, so I don’t like to go far from home or my people. I’m a big girl, about 77 pounds, and can be clumsy sometimes, but if you are used to large dogs, you will love me. I’m a gentle giant who just wants to be loved and I have a lot of potential and I’m ready to show you what a great dog I can be!

Ideal Home

A home with an owner who can handle and teach me manners, as I can pull hard on walks. Older children (over 10) are best due to my size. I prefer to be inside with my people and don’t like to be outdoors for too long.

Ongoing Health

I have some digestive issues and require a special diet of lamb and rice.

Training & Support

I need to be crated when unsupervised as I may chew on things.
