JOEY

Joey is a super cute, sweet, energetic, and playful pup with golden tan fur and beautiful green eyes! He's approximately 2 years old and absolutely loves being with people, snuggling up, and going on walks. Joey lives with foster dog siblings and really enjoys playful romps with his foster sister, who is larger than him. He walks well on a leash and knows his basic commands like sit, stay, and down. Joey is also a very good boy who will sit and wait for his food until you give him the go-ahead! He is crate-trained for workdays and nights and enjoys outdoor breaks and a daily walk. Inside, Joey has shown no destructive tendencies around furniture.

Ideal Home

Joey will do best in a home without small pets. He would also enjoy another dog his size or larger to play with. However, this sweet boy would also be perfectly happy as an only dog, as he loves people and would appreciate having you all to himself!

Ongoing Health

Joey is currently heartworm positive and is in treatment. He is still adoptable while undergoing treatment.

Training & Support

Joey is crate-trained and knows basic commands. He is house-trained and has not shown any destructive behaviors.
