Cami is a sweet, shy girl who has just turned one year old as of January 28th. She's a mixed breed, possibly a Terrier/Lab mix, weighing around 30-35 pounds. Cami is a special case who needs a loving, very patient home. She is timid and needs to feel safe and loved to truly blossom. Her disposition can be seen in her YouTube video. Cami's sister was adopted recently, and she has unfortunately regressed into her shell, making it even more important for her to find a stable, loving environment. She does very well with other dogs and truly shines when around them, so a playful canine companion in the home would be ideal. Cami would also benefit from one-on-one attention.
Ideal Home
Cami would thrive in a quiet home. If there are children in the home, they need to be at least 14 years old. She needs a fenced yard, especially in the beginning, as she would be a flight risk while she's learning to trust her new family.
Ongoing Health
Cami is spayed, vaccinated (DHLPPx3, Bordetella and Rabies), has been dewormed, and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. A health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. She does not go to the bathroom in her crate at night.
Training & Support
Cami needs work on leash walking and is not currently housebroken. She would benefit greatly from a consistent routine and gentle guidance as she adjusts to her new home.

Cami is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. She can be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the listed cities. If things don't work out, she will return to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
