Meet Hershey, a 3.5-year-old, 42-pound spayed female Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog mix with a heart as sweet as her name! Found wandering the streets of Houston, she was rescued and is now in a loving foster home, blossoming into a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing companion. Hershey is a low-rider cuddle bug who absolutely adores her people and is happiest when she's curled up next to you. She bonds deeply with her humans and thrives in a home where she can be part of the family's daily life.
Ideal Home
Hershey is looking for a stable, loving home where she can continue to thrive and feel safe. She has had a positive experience with children, including a gentle 9-year-old boy, and her affectionate nature makes her a great match for a home with respectful kids. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, her bouncy play style might do best with a calm, tolerant dog who won't mind her enthusiastic approach, or as the only pet to soak up all the love. Due to no known history with cats, slow, supervised introductions or a cat-free home would be best. Loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms can spook her, so a calm, secure environment during those moments is important.
Ongoing Health
Hershey is a spayed female and has no other health conditions noted.
Training & Support
Hershey is fully housebroken and does well in her crate. She is great on a leash and walks calmly. She enjoys regular walks and time outside.
