Like her name suggests, Nova shines bright in every way! This sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl is always ready with a warm hello and soft kisses. Her peaceful presence makes her a true joy to be around. Nova is a wonderful all-rounder who loves people, children, and dogs of all play styles. She even does well with cats! Whether it's chasing bubbles, encouraging her dog friends to play, splashing in the water, exploring new places, or cuddling up for a nap, Nova simply loves being by your side.
Ideal Home
Nova could do well in a variety of homes, with or without other dogs. She’s playful and would enjoy a medium-energy doggy friend who can romp with her but also settle down when it's time to rest. Feline friends are welcome, too! She has lived with cats and is respectfully cautious, happy to give them their space. Apartment living is a possibility as she walks nicely on leash and is quiet. While she may be shy in brand-new settings, she warms up quickly, usually within about 10 minutes.
Ongoing Health
Nova is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Nova is a smart girl who trains easily and is motivated by treats and praise. She already knows her basic commands. While she has lived with children as young as 3 and is wonderful with them, she can occasionally get excited and jump, but she responds quickly to a gentle "off." She is both house and crate trained and enjoys relaxing with a good chew treat.
