Meet Grover Chillington!

Grover's journey began in a high-kill shelter in Houston. He was sadly placed on the euthanasia list after only a few weeks, but thankfully, a wonderful foster family stepped in to save him. Grover is an absolute gem! He's around 2-3 years old and weighs about 48 pounds, making him the perfect medium-sized companion. Grover is the epitome of chill, with an old soul and a heart full of love. He thrives on spending time with his humans and wants to be part of all the action, whether it's lounging in the backyard, going for a leisurely walk, or claiming the coziest spot for a nap. He enjoys exploring but isn't looking to be an agility star; a few daily walks and quality time with his family are all he needs to be happy. Grover is also incredibly well-behaved off-leash and will never stray far from his people.

Ideal Home

Grover would love a home filled with affection, a soft bed to snooze on, and people who cherish having a devoted canine companion. He’s a little shy initially but quickly warms up and will be rolling over for belly rubs in no time.

Ongoing Health

Grover is currently finishing up his heartworm treatment and will be ready for his forever home in July. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on prevention.

Training & Support

Grover is fully house-trained and has excellent house manners. He settles well indoors, is not destructive, and gets along with everyone he meets.
