Candy

Candy is a charming black Doberman Pinscher with natural ears and a docked tail. She came to us as a stray, and after a thorough search for her owner yielded no results, she joined our program. Candy is a fun and friendly girl who enjoys playing with male dogs. She can be a bit shy when she first encounters new situations, so a patient home that will allow her to adjust at her own pace is ideal. Once she feels comfortable, she is incredibly loyal and affectionate. She already knows a few commands and is very food-motivated, which will make training a breeze. Candy is housebroken, crate-trained, and we're told she's good with older children. Our vet estimates she was born early in 2024.

Ideal Home

Candy would thrive in a home that understands she can be initially shy and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel secure. She enjoys playing with male dogs and is said to be fine with older children.

Ongoing Health

Candy is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and has been spayed. She is generally healthy, and her vet estimates her birthdate to be early 2024.

Training & Support

Candy is housebroken, crate-trained, and knows a few basic commands. Her food motivation makes her an eager learner, so continued positive reinforcement training will surely help her blossom.
