Marmalade a/k/a Lady

Marmalade, also known as Lady, is a gentle and calm lady with an old soul. Around 3-4 years old, she's incredibly easy to live with. She's house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is happy to relax at your feet after a walk. Marmalade is a wonderful family companion, perfect for retirees or anyone seeking a low-maintenance best friend. She's also a great guardian, recently alerting her foster to a snake in the yard, showing off her Anatolian instincts while remaining the sweetest girl. Marmalade might not be the life of the party, but she's the one quietly making your life better every single day.

Marmalade was found as a stray south of Austin and, despite being found skinny and flea-ridden, remained happy and trusting. She had not been treated kindly by people but still offered her heart. She plays politely with other dogs, though she doesn't require a canine companion to thrive.
