LOUISE

Meet Louise! She's a charming Terrier mix, estimated to be between 1 to 3 years old, who came to us as a stray with her pal Thelma. While we don't know much about her past, we can tell you that Louise is a little bolder than Thelma and is sure to win you over with some attention and tasty treats! She has a wonderfully curly coat that will likely need regular grooming and the most adorable underbite you've ever seen.

Ideal Home

Louise is a bit timid when first meeting new people, but warms up quickly with affection and treats. She has done well with other dogs at the shelter. We don't know how she is with kids or cats, so a meet-and-greet with any potential family members (furry or human!) is a must to ensure everyone gets along. While she and Thelma are friendly, they would likely thrive in separate homes to build their individual confidence.

Ongoing Health

Louise is up-to-date on her DA2PP and Bordetella vaccines. She is not yet spayed but is on the vet's waiting list. If she is not spayed before adoption, her adoption fee includes a $75 voucher to help cover the cost of her spay surgery at a veterinarian of your choice.

Training & Support

Louise is not yet house-trained. As she's still learning, a patient and understanding adopter will be key to her success.

Transporation

Louise is located at the Wood County Dog Shelter in Bowling Green, OH. We can facilitate transport to approved adopters within a reasonable distance.
