Meet Martin!

Martin is a charming young guy, about 2 years old, with a heart as big as his goofy smile. This handsome, all-white boy with adorable spotted ears weighs about 55 pounds and is ready for his fresh start. He's been neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.

What makes Martin a little special is that he is deaf. This doesn't stop him from loving people or enjoying life; it just means he'll need someone willing to communicate with him in a different way. Martin is looking for a patient adopter or foster who will teach him the basics using hand signals and positive reinforcement. Since he was found as a stray, it doesn't appear anyone ever took the time to show him those skills.

The good news? Martin is incredibly sweet, eager to connect, and has all the makings of a wonderful companion. He's a lovable, goofy young dog who deserves someone willing to invest a little time so he can become the amazing dog we know he's capable of being. We are also very open to rescue placement for Martin if your rescue has experience with deaf dogs or positive reinforcement training.
