Meet Sushi!
Sushi is a delightful 4-year-old, 7-pound sweetheart who is sure to capture your heart with her big personality. She came to us when her previous owner could no longer care for her. When she arrived, her coat was severely matted, requiring a full shave to ensure her comfort and well-being. Now, with a fresh start, she's feeling like a brand-new pup! Sushi is incredibly sweet and loves meeting new people; she's never met a stranger and is always eager to make a new friend. She gets along well with other dogs who understand she's a tiny girl and will give her space, and she has also been comfortable around cats. Due to her petite size, she would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children who know how to interact gently with small dogs. Sushi enjoys playing with her toys and has the cutest tiny bark that she uses when she's excited – it's guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!
Ideal Home
Sushi is looking for a family that will cherish her and understands that tiny dogs deserve big love, cozy laps, soft beds, regular grooming, and plenty of adventures. A securely fenced physical yard is required to keep her safe, as she is not a leash walker and has little recall. She is not a candidate for an invisible fence or tether.
Ongoing Health
Sushi has a low-grade luxating patella in her right rear leg. This condition does not require medical intervention and does not slow her down; she enjoys running, playing, and living life to the fullest. She is current on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies, has been dewormed, tested negative for heartworm, and is receiving heartworm and flea prevention. She has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Sushi is making great progress with her potty training, transitioning to a more consistent outdoor routine. While she's not a strong leash walker and has limited recall, a secure yard will help her thrive.

Sushi is currently located in Oakland Township, MI, in a foster home. Transportation to other areas within Michigan may be possible.
