About Bailey-Sue

Bailey-Sue is a 4-year-old, 57lb spayed female pittie mix with a heart full of love to give. She came to us after experiencing a difficult past, but her resilience and gentle spirit have truly shone through. While it took time for her to trust again, she's now a playful, affectionate, and brave girl who is ready to find her forever home. Bailey-Sue dreams of a patient and loving family where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. Once she feels safe and secure, she's pure devotion and affection!

Ideal Home

Bailey-Sue thrives in a home that understands she may take time to feel safe and confident due to her past experiences. She is wonderful with children of all ages, from 3 to 17 years old, and enjoys being part of a family. She also enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly calm male dogs around 30-80 lbs who can match her energy. Slow introductions are key to her success with new canine friends.

Ongoing Health

Bailey-Sue is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has no known health conditions to report.

Training & Support

Bailey-Sue is fully house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping through the night without issue. She has excellent manners and has never shown any food or toy guarding tendencies. When it comes to leash walking, she does best after she's had a chance to burn off some energy. Continued leash work will help her be her best self. While generally calm, she can be cautious around new people and dogs, sometimes barking out of fear rather than aggression. With love, patience, and structure, she blossoms into a loyal and trusting companion.
