Gabbie is a delightful 6-year-old Irish Red and White Setter, weighing in at 55lbs, who is eagerly searching for her forever home. This sweet girl has an affectionate personality and is house-trained, making her a wonderful addition to a loving family. She enjoys being around people and is known to be good with children (over 8 years old), dogs, and cats. Gabbie is especially fond of puppies, though she can be a bit shy with new doggy friends until proper introductions are made. Her previous owner's passing led to some anxiety from being left alone, but with a family who can give her the love and security she deserves, she'll surely blossom. Gabbie adores the outdoors and would make a fantastic hiking companion!

Ongoing Health
Gabbie has undergone two TPLO surgeries to repair damaged cruciate ligaments in her back knees. She has healed well from these procedures, which involved repositioning her tibia and implanting metal plates and screws to stabilize the joint. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
While Gabbie is house-trained, she can experience some anxiety when left alone. Providing a secure and loving environment will help her feel comfortable.

Gabbie is located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out-of-state adoptions due to the requirement of a home check.
