Hi, my name is Chip! I'm a smart and energetic 4-month-old pup, likely a mix of Pittie and Shepherd. I was found as a stray and rescued by Save-A-Bull. I'm a fast learner, and with my love for food, I'm already mastering new skills! In just two days, I learned to use the treadmill, and I'm highly food-motivated, making obedience lessons a breeze. My foster family thinks I might even have potential as a sport dog! I'm doing great with potty training, and I sleep well in my crate at night. I do get a little antsy when crated during the day, but my foster family is helping me learn that my crate is a safe space. I'm also learning to walk on a leash and am eager to become a pro with your guidance.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for an active family that can help me burn off my energy both physically and mentally. I thrive with humans who are motivated to teach me new tricks and skills. A home with a 6-foot fence is ideal, as I've shown a tendency to be an escape artist, possibly due to my dislike of being alone.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy pup, and no ongoing health concerns have been noted.

Training & Support

I'm learning to manage my desire to play rough with other dogs and am working on my confidence when left alone. Continued training and socialization will be key to helping me become a well-rounded and confident companion. I'm still learning to communicate when I need to go outside, so regular potty breaks are important!
