Frances

Frances is a lovely 1.5-year-old beagle mix who is part of a group of 13 dogs from Ridglan Farms. These dogs have had a difficult start in life and are now ready for a new journey. They are working to build confidence and learn to view life with curiosity and joy. Everything is new and intriguing to them, and they need patient and experienced owners to help them on their path. Our goal is to find the best possible home for each of these special dogs, and this will not be a first-come, first-served adoption process.

Ideal Home

A securely fenced yard is a must for Frances' safety, as she is an extreme flight risk and would be very difficult to find if she got lost. Homes with mature, well-behaved children over 10 years old will be considered. A confident, dog-friendly resident dog would be tremendously helpful for her adjustment. Patience and experience are key, as Frances will need a slow and steady approach to building trust and comfort.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned, but potential adopters should be aware that many potty accidents are to be expected for many months.

Training & Support

Frances will require significant patience and understanding as she learns that human touch is safe and enjoyable. It may be necessary to create an indoor enclosure for her to help her feel secure, potentially for an extended period.
