Obie

Obie is a 6-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a gentle soul. He came to us with his best friend, Amelia, after their family had to surrender them due to personal circumstances. Obie can be a little timid when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but with patience, kindness, and a little time, his sweet personality begins to shine. He finds comfort in familiar faces and especially in having Amelia by his side. Because Obie and Amelia share a close bond, we'd love to see them adopted together so they can continue to provide each other with comfort and companionship. If you have a quiet home and room in your heart for two deserving dogs, Obie and Amelia are ready to fill it with love.

Ideal Home

Obie would thrive in a quiet home where he can feel secure. He does best with familiar faces and finds comfort in his bonded companion, Amelia.

Ongoing Health

Obie has no known ongoing health conditions. He has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Obie can be timid in new situations. Patience and kindness will help his sweet personality shine through. He finds comfort with Amelia, so adopting them together is recommended for mutual support.
