About Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

There are cute puppies, and then there are puppies that make you immediately stop what you're doing and say, "Oh my gosh, LOOK at her." Poppy Lou is one of those puppies. Between her adorable panda-bear face, her ridiculously perfect floppy ears, and the sweet expression she always seems to wear, this girl is almost unfairly cute. The kind of cute that gets away with absolutely everything. Thankfully, her personality is just as wonderful as her looks. She's gentle, affectionate, sweet as can be, and has the softest, most innocent way about her that makes everyone fall in love with her.

Watch her video and prepare to become obsessed with those floppy ears: https://youtu.be/SZN0kcS5mLE?si=8fhm0QY-EFo5hcUe

Poppy Lou is approximately 7 months old, weighs around 34 lbs, and we believe she may be a Lab/Pittie mix. With rescue it's always a mystery and we can never guarantee breed or age. What we do know is that she's adorable, still has some growing left to do, and has enough sweetness packed into her little body to melt just about anyone's heart.

One of the first things people notice about Poppy is how gentle she is. Even though she's still very much a puppy, she has a softness to her that makes her stand out. She's not the type that's bouncing off the walls 24/7 looking for trouble. Instead, she's happy to be near her people, soak up affection, and enjoy whatever the day has in store. Poppy is currently fostered in a home with three children ranging from ages 3 to 16 and has done wonderfully with all of them. Her gentle nature shines through with kids just as much as it does with adults. She's affectionate, easygoing, and has all the potential in the world to become an amazing family dog.

She's also dog friendly and currently fostered with other dogs. She gets along beautifully with them and has the same sweet, respectful personality with her canine friends that she does with people. Every now and then she'll engage in a little lighthearted wrestling match or some playful fun, but for the most part she's perfectly content hanging out alongside her doggy foster siblings and enjoying their company.

While Poppy can be a little shy when first meeting new people or exploring new environments, it doesn't take much for her sweet personality to start shining through. She's still a baby learning about the world and sometimes just needs a little time to process new things. Once she settles in, you'll quickly see just how loving and affectionate she truly is. Poppy is crate trained, potty trained, and already has a wonderful foundation for such a young dog. She walks fairly well on leash and just needs continued practice as she grows and gains confidence. She's also treat motivated, knows how to sit, and takes treats so gently it's almost impossible not to tell her she's the best girl ever.

And then there are those ears. Seriously. They're amazing.

Combined with her adorable markings and sweet puppy face, they give her a look that's impossible to forget. She's one of those dogs that people instantly gravitate toward because she's just so stinkin' cute. Thankfully, once they meet her, they realize her personality is every bit as beautiful as her appearance. Because she's still building confidence and learning about the world around her, we think Poppy would be happiest in a home with a backyard where she can continue exploring, playing, and growing at her own pace.

If you're looking for a puppy that's sweet, gentle, dog friendly, kid friendly, ridiculously adorable, and has some of the best floppy ears we've ever seen, Poppy might just be your girl.

We are willing to test Poppy Lou with anything you need in order to ensue it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
