Meet Ziggy! This handsome 4-year-old, 57-pound pup is a delightful mix of Foxhound and Cattle Dog. Ziggy came to us from another shelter after being found as a stray, and he's ready to find his forever family. He's got that classic hound bay when he gets excited, but what truly shines is his incredible affection for people. Ziggy is a total wiggle-butt who never misses an opportunity for kisses or a standing hug! He's gentle with treats and, while not a huge food motivated dog, he still enjoys training time. Ziggy already knows "sit" and "paw" and is 100% housebroken. He's a great traveler in the car and has really blossomed in his foster home. He's friendly with strangers and seems to get along well with other dogs. He would likely do wonderfully with children and can be tested with cats if needed. Ziggy isn't a fan of the kennel and much prefers being out and about with his people. He can be a bit strong on leash and has a tendency to "counter surf," but he responds well to gentle corrections and will thrive with continued structure and training. Ideal Home
Ziggy would love a home where he can be with his people. He's not a fan of kennels and prefers to be out and about. He would likely do great with kids and other dogs. A cat test can be arranged if needed.
