This loving six-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix, weighing about 45 pounds, is a gentle soul whose affection shines as brightly as her lightly golden coat. Gracie's favorite things include cuddling with her favorite people, basking in the warm sunshine, and receiving hugs and belly rubs. She has a particularly sweet quirk of standing on her hind legs to wrap her front paws around you for a heartfelt hug, making every greeting a special occasion! Gracie is house-trained, crate-trained, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations, making her an easy companion to welcome into your home. She loves squeaky toys, tasty treats, relaxing car rides, and attending doggy daycare where she has made many canine friends. She knows "sit" and "lay," comes when called, settles well when left alone for short periods, and enjoys a simple routine of eating twice a day. Gracie feels most confident in a calm, reassuring environment, as loud noises can make her uneasy.
Ideal Home
Gracie thrives on companionship and being involved in family activities. She would do well in a home with older, respectful children and without toddlers. Due to past household conflicts involving senior dogs during highly emotional situations, she would be happiest as the only dog or with a younger, compatible canine companion after thoughtful introductions.
