Rosa

Rosa is a 4-year-old, 13.5 lb Chihuahua Mix looking for a loving home! This sweet girl is a cuddle bug who wants to attach strongly to her person. She's shy with new people and situations but warms up with time and gentle affection. Rosa enjoys sitting by your side, relaxing, and keeping you company. She's potty trained and loves taking walks, but prefers to stay on her feet rather than ride in a car. Rosa is ready to be loved and adored in her forever home!

Ideal Home

Rosa would do well in a peaceful home. She is most comfortable around other small, calm dogs and will generally ignore them or adjust after a brief bark or growl if she feels overwhelmed. While she likes to chase cats and bunnies when on leash, she seems to ignore or be a bit afraid of cats indoors. She is nervous with children and new people initially but enjoys being petted and snuggled once she warms up. She doesn't love being picked up but will eventually accept it.

Rosa has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Rosa is potty trained. While she doesn't know specific commands, she is motivated by affection and petting. She would benefit from an adopter who can continue her socialization and training to help her feel comfortable and safe in new situations. She is not very interested in toys.
