Hooey is a 3-year-old, 22-pound male Chihuahua/German Pinscher mix who is the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate cuddles! This handsome boy truly loves life and his people even more. Hooey is happy whether he's riding shotgun on a car adventure, zooming around the yard, playing with his dog friends, or curled up in your lap at the end of the day. He grew up with plenty of space to run and explore in a rural home, but unfortunately, his family had to move to a home without a yard. They know Hooey deserves a place where he can truly thrive again and are making the difficult decision to find him a home with room to run and play.

Hooey would love a home with a yard or an active family to match his energetic side. He is incredibly affectionate and wants to be close to his humans, so he'll thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention and cuddle time.

Training & Support

Hooey is crate trained and house-trained. He'll even let you know when he needs to go outside by whining or crying in his crate. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and enjoys meeting new people and children, though he may be a little shy at first until he warms up.
