Hank

Hank is a 10-month-old sweet boy who is a wonderfully well-rounded companion. He's already mastered potty training and kennel training, and he gets along famously with the cats and small dog in his current home. He's also been around other dogs and does great with them! Hank is a pretty chill guy, but he definitely enjoys his walks and hikes, and he's a smart cookie too – he knows how to sit and lay down, and sometimes even retrieves a ball when playing fetch.

Ideal Home

Hank would thrive in a home that can offer him consistent exercise and mental stimulation. While he does well with other dogs and cats, he is being rehomed due to some reactivity (barking and lunging) specifically towards children visiting his current home. He doesn't seem bothered by children when he's outside of the home environment, so a home without resident children, or with older children who have experience with dogs and can follow guidance, might be best.

Ongoing Health

Hank is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He currently weighs 58 pounds.

Training & Support

Hank is already house and kennel trained and knows basic commands like sit and lay down. His main area for support will be continued socialization and management around children to help him feel more comfortable and confident.
