Meet Yoda, a 4-year-old German Shepherd with movie-star good looks and a sparkling personality! This handsome boy, weighing 80 pounds, has a plush black and tan coat and an athletic build, making him the perfect companion for both cozy snuggles and adventurous hikes, runs, and outdoor activities. Yoda is incredibly intelligent with an independent spirit, which means he'd excel in advanced training or would love a "job" to keep his sharp mind engaged. He's curious and outgoing, always eager to explore his surroundings before returning to your side for affection and connection.

Ideal Home

Yoda may prefer to be the king of his castle. He has a strong prey drive, so no cats, please. He has been cautious with other dogs, so slow, thoughtful introductions are key to a successful friendship.

Ongoing Health

Yoda may need a standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you. The shelter can likely help with this!

Training & Support

Yoda is independent, intelligent, and loves to explore. After he's had his fill of exploring or playing, he will periodically return to seek out affection and attention. If you can help him burn off his excess energy, you'll find yourself with a devoted lovebug!
