Rocky

Rocky has been with us for almost two years and is still waiting for his forever home. He's a great dog, and we can't understand why he's still here! Rocky arrived at the county shelter at eight months old and remained there until his first birthday. Due to overcrowding, he was placed on the euthanasia list as no one had shown interest in adopting him. We learned of his urgent situation and that he had less than an hour left. Seeing his potential, we decided to take him in. Rocky is a sweet and playful dog with boundless energy. Having spent most of his early months in a shelter, he lacked manners but, being a puppy, he's easily trainable. Over the past year, we've discovered Rocky's goofy yet extremely affectionate personality. He loves to hug and has learned basic commands. He only jumps up gently to give hugs and enjoys lounging in the sun. Rocky believes he's a lap dog and will be an excellent addition to any loving home.

Training & Support

Rocky has learned basic commands and has been trained not to jump up, except to give gentle hugs. He is easily trainable and eager to please.
