Meet Booker! This handsome 2-year-old is a high-potential pup with a talent for cuddles, but he's still learning the ropes of being a family dog. Booker spent his first year mostly outdoors and is now thriving in a foster home, ready to find a confident leader to guide him. He’s a real "follow the leader" type, happiest when he has a reliable human making the big decisions. He's looking for a partner who understands dog body language and can be his advocate in the world.
Ideal Home
Booker needs a dog-savvy, adult-only home. He's looking for a confident leader who can help him navigate his big feelings. Because he's still learning to ask for space appropriately, he can be a bit mouthy when overwhelmed, so his ideal home is "pro-muzzle." He's already a champ with his muzzle and wears it like a pro on outings, and his new owners should be comfortable continuing this practice in new or busy places to help him feel secure and successful.

Booker is fully vaccinated and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Booker is house-trained and ready for a structured routine. He's still learning to manage his emotions and can use his teeth to ask for space when overwhelmed. His new family should be comfortable continuing to use a muzzle in new or busy environments to ensure his safety and build his confidence.

Booker's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax, which covers his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip, as well as any additional medical care he may have needed while in our care.
Transporation
Booker is currently in a foster home. As we are a foster-based rescue, we do not have a physical facility. We can discuss transportation options once your application is approved.
