Joey is an extra-large, incredibly smart guy who’s sure to turn heads wherever he goes. With his impressive height and striking eyes, people might even do a double-take — “Is that a dog... or a horse?” Despite his towering presence, Joey is pretty well-mannered... most of the time. When he’s feeling stubborn, though, he’s got a cheeky little streak that says, “Oh, you want me to do that? Hmm... let me think about it!” But don’t worry—he’s mostly a good sport, especially when treats are involved! He’s mastered commands like ‘Sit,’ ‘Down,’ and ‘Paw,’ and walks nicely on a leash most of the time—except when his powerful hound nose catches an irresistible scent. Then, all bets are off as he follows his curious sniffer!
Joey isn’t just a big guy—he’s also quite the chatterbox and loves to talk back to his humans, sharing his thoughts and keeping the conversation lively. This big boy comes with a big personality to match. Joey loves to tease you by placing his toys just out of reach, giving you those wide, expectant eyes until you grab it to play. With his long arms and big, playful paws, he’s a pro at batting toys out of your hand and chasing them down for endless games of fetch. If you’re looking for nonstop entertainment and a smile-maker, Joey’s your guy! Joey has enjoyed positive experiences with other dogs and might do well with the right canine companion, but he’s also happy being your one and only.
Ideal Home
Joey is best suited for a moderately active home that will keep him busy with fetch sessions and plenty of mental challenges.
Ongoing Health
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
Training & Support
