Joey Jolly is a delightful Corgi mix, approximately 2 years old, who embodies pure joy and affection. With his signature short legs, big ears, and a body that's a charming blend of Corgi and Lab, he's a true "short king" weighing in at a perfect 46 lbs. Joey's most striking feature, however, might be his unique eyes – one a warm caramel brown, the other a captivating mix of caramel and icy blue. He's an incredibly happy and social boy who thrives on attention, leaning in for cuddles and greeting everyone with his infectious energy. He has a well-balanced personality, being silly, adventurous, and cuddly all at once. Joey is crate trained, potty trained, and walks fairly well on a leash, though his skills can always be refined. He's eager to please and knows how to sit (sometimes!). He rides well in a car and can jump in and out of it independently. Joey would be a wonderful fit for a semi-active family or someone who works from home, as he's equally happy on an adventure or relaxing by your side.
Ideal Home
Joey would thrive in a home that can match his joyful energy and provide plenty of opportunities for affection and play. He has done well with children ages 5, 12, and 16 and would likely do well in a home with them.
Ongoing Health
Joey is a healthy boy, and his adoption fee covers all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Joey is crate trained and potty trained. While he knows how to sit, his leash skills can be further fine-tuned with consistent practice. His eager-to-please nature will make training a rewarding experience.

Transporation
Joey is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
