Rusty

Meet Rusty! This handsome 1-year-old Husky/Aussie mix has a heart as big as his smile. He was rescued from a euthanasia list and is now looking for the loving forever family he deserves.

Rusty is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. He loves outdoor adventures, especially with a rope toy, but once he's tired out, he's happiest curled up with his people. Being with his humans is his favorite, and he's always ready for cuddles or just to hang by your side.

He's a smart boy who loves to learn. Rusty already knows "sit" and "come," and he's quickly mastering "stay" and "lay down." He's house-trained, walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and settles nicely in his kennel at night. He'll bark a little to let you know if someone is around, but he's not an excessive barker. Rusty has a loyal and loving personality and would make an amazing companion for someone looking for a best friend. He's ready for backyard play, adventures, or just relaxing together. Having overcome so much, he's eager to experience true love.
