Izzy is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix, weighing 48 pounds, who is looking for a loving foster or adoptive home. She came into rescue after being surrendered by her previous owner, but despite a difficult past, she remains incredibly sweet, loving, and trusting. Izzy has a charming underbite that gives her the sweetest smile! She is a low-key, easygoing girl who loves to relax with her people and soak up affection. Izzy is content to simply hang out by your side and enjoys the company of other dogs, making her an easy addition to many homes. Her calm, loving personality makes her the kind of dog who quickly becomes everyone's best friend. Izzy needs a committed foster or adopter to make it onto the July 11 transport to Wisconsin.
