Heart

Meet Heart! She's a charming mixed breed puppy, likely with some cattle dog, beagle, lab, and feist in her lineage, born on January 31, 2025. Heart and her siblings were born into foster care after their mom, Vallie, was surrendered while in labor. Heart is truly a cutie with unique markings that are sure to capture your heart! She's full of love and ready to be a wonderful addition to a family who will shower her with affection and care. Puppies thrive when they're involved in their family's activities, and we've done our best to start her house-training, but please remember that patience is key as she continues to learn.

Ongoing Health

Heart is up to date on vaccines, has had a fecal test and dewormer, and is on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. She will be microchipped upon adoption. She weighed 45 pounds when she was spayed on August 8, 2025. She is expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown.

Training & Support

While our foster families work on house-training, please be patient with any puppy you adopt, as it's a learning process.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• The adoption donation is $200.
• A $50 reimbursement will be sent upon receipt of proof of spay/neuter when she reaches the appropriate age.
• The adoption donation includes a discount for S.T.A.R. Puppy Kindergarten or Canine Good Citizen Class.
• We do not offer individual meet and greet sessions. If chosen, you'll have ample time for introductions before committing.

Transportation

Heart is located in Murray, KY. We do not fly or ship dogs. If you are willing to fly out and fly the dog back in the cabin with you (subject to size restrictions), that may be considered. You must come to Murray, KY to pick up the dog and complete the paperwork in person. We do adopt out-of-state, but we do not provide transportation.
