Patty

I am Patty, a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who would love someone to take me for long walks, cuddle with me, and show me around. I can be shy and timid at first, but I warm up quickly. My foster mom loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail. I am missing part of my tail, but I am not missing any personality! I am from Texas, and it's pretty chilly up here, so I love to snuggle up in a blanket next to my people. I sleep in my kennel at night and am very quiet. I am working on potty training and am doing very well with frequent potty breaks. I will need someone to continue to teach me about being polite and how to walk on a leash. I love treats and want to do the right thing, so please teach me! I am a puppy, so I love to play with toys, especially bones and things I can chew on. I love to run and chase other dogs in the yard, and they like to play with me too. I have been around people of all ages and love everyone! I have also been around a cat and, although I was a little scared at first, we are becoming friends. I learn from bigger dogs and take their lead. I would love to meet someone who can see past my timidness and see that I am an amazing pup!

Training & Support

I am still working on potty training and learning polite manners, such as not jumping up when greeting people. I love treats and want to do the right thing, so continued positive reinforcement will be key!
