This brave little guy came to us from a shelter in northern Alabama, where life can be very uncertain for dogs. Thankfully, he was given a chance at a brighter future! When he first arrived, he needed some medical attention and, just as importantly, the gentle reassurance of a loving human touch. He's still a bit shy, but he is incredibly gentle and friendly. He craves love just as much as any dog, whether they're bold or a little more reserved.

Ongoing Health

He has tested positive for Ehrlichia, a tick-borne illness. He has received treatment and is doing well.

Training & Support

He is dog-friendly and is just beginning to learn about leashes, trying his very best each day. With patience and understanding, he is already starting to open up and will blossom with continued kindness and time.
