Ella (Bella)

I am Ella Bella, a loving and committed companion searching for my forever home. While I may have a name that sounds like it belongs in the South, I don't have a drawl – but I'll do my best to charm you with my affection if you promise to love me! I enjoy short walks, lounging, and plenty of naps, along with two tasty meals a day and the occasional treat. When I get excited, I transform into a whirling dervish, and I do require my bathroom time, so please give me space!

Ideal Home

I would love a home with a fenced yard, farm, or a work-from-home lifestyle so I can go outside often. I do best in a cat-free environment as I enjoy chasing them. I also thrive with older children who are large enough that I won't accidentally knock them over.

Ongoing Health

I have a brain injury, likely from trauma to my Cerebral Cortex, which has caused a space between my brain and skull filled with fluid. This has resulted in the loss of vision in my right eye, though the eye itself is healthy. I take medication to help keep me calm, as my world can appear a little different, and I do walk a bit differently. However, this doesn't stop me from running like the wind or playing with friends!

Training & Support

I enjoy eating and sleeping in my crate but also love to relax on a couch or in a large chair for naps. I am good with other dogs who also enjoy the company of other dogs.
