Ellie is a sweet, gentle 3-year-old, 45-pound Parvo survivor who is ready to find the family she's always deserved. If you're looking for a loving cuddle buddy, Ellie is your girl! She absolutely loves to snuggle with her people and is happiest curled up next to you or even better, another dog. Ellie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a home with a canine companion to cuddle and play with. While she'd thrive with another dog, she could also be happy as an only pet if her family is active, includes her in their adventures, and gives her plenty of attention. She is potty trained, crate trained, and enjoys spending time outdoors. With a large, securely fenced yard, Ellie loves to run, explore, and burn off her energy. She walks okay on a leash, though she's still polishing her leash manners and isn't quite a superstar yet. Ellie has shown curiosity around cats at the veterinary clinic but has never displayed any aggression toward them. She can be vocal at times, so apartment living likely isn't the best fit for her. After surviving Parvo, Ellie has proven she's a resilient little fighter with so much love left to give. She has a kind heart, a gentle soul, and is simply looking for a family to call her own. If you're searching for a loyal companion who will happily join you on adventures before curling up for movie night, Ellie is ready to meet you!
